Charles Harris, President & CEO
Charles Harris founded EFI Polymers in October of 1993. As President and CEO, he brings over 19 years of management, operations and technical sales experience to the company. Charles entered the specialty chemicals and polymers business working for Exxon Company USA in New York and New Jersey where he focused on chemicals sales to corporate accounts, end users and distribution. Later, he work in chemical distribution for Univar in the Rocky Mountain West building their specialty chemicals business in the coatings, inks and adhesives industry. During this time he served as President of the Denver Chapter of the National Paint Coatings Association.
Mitch Horwat, Vice President of Sales
has been engineering custom formulated resin systems for over 22 years. Prior to becoming a principal partner at EFI Polymers in 1999, Mitch worked in a variety of industries including the automotive, composites and electrical/electronics for leading multi-national companies. His vast experience in the polymer industry supports his management of EFI-polymers’ domestic and international business development. Mitch has both Electrical Engineering and Speech Communications degrees from Penn State University.
Charles Schroeder, VP Technology Epoxy Formulations
Charles Schroeder has thirty-five years experience in formulating epoxies and urethanes for electrical and adhesive applications, thermoset polyesters for FRP laminating and electrical, and waterbourne coatings and adhesives. He has a BS in Chemistry, University of Missouri at Rolla. He is a member and past president of the Rocky Mountain Society of Coatings Technology and member of the American Chemical Society.
